The types of visas. General Provisions.
The first possible date of the entry and exit of compulsory extreme date marked on the visa sticker, and the deadline for departure - 24 - hour and the last day of validity of visas specified in the visa stickers. The length of stay on the territory of Belarus, indicated in days, not to be continuing, with the exception of humanitarian cases. Visas for a short-term stay (visas):
* Single entry - entitled to a one-time entry and stay of up to 30 days within 6 months from the date of entry. The exact length of stay specified in the visa stickers.
* Double entry - giving the right to two entry and stay for periods of up to 30 days within 6 months from the date of first entry. The exact length of stay specified in the visa stickers.
* Multiple 3 - monthly visa - valid for a period of 3 months is entitled to multiple entry and the total (cumulative) stay up to 30 days, but not more than the period specified in the visa stickers.
* Multiple 6 - month-entry visa - valid for 6 months. qualifies for multiple entries and the total (cumulative) stay up to 30 days, but not more than the period specified in the visa stickers.
* Multiple 12 - month-entry visa - valid for 12 months, giving the right of multiple entries and the total (cumulative) stay up to 30 days within 6 months from the date of first entry, but not more than the period specified in the visa stickers.

Documents needed to obtain a visa:
* a valid passport citizen of the Russian Federation, a photocopy of the page with a photo and photocopies of all cash valid visas in the passport;
* application form for a visa (application for a visa for short-term stay or application for a tourist visa, which forms are provided free at Bulgarian consular services in the Russian Federation or can be taken on the site);
* topical color photo - 1 pc. size 3.5 x 4.5 cm (as for the Russian passport);
* original and photocopy documents certifying the purpose of the travel;
* documents certifying the availability of funds to stay in Bulgaria in the amount of at least 50 euros per day, but no less than 500 euros. Or, as an alternative: a tourist voucher (and a copy of a voucher), or a similar amount of other freely convertible currency.
* documents certifying the existence of the necessary financial resources to pay for a hotel or shelter in the amount of at least 50 euros per day. Alternatively: tourist voucher (and a copy of a voucher) or original invitation ( "pokana-declaration of a private visit to chuzhdenets") of the Bulgarian natural person on the model approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria No.31 of 1993
* tickets or documents certifying the existence of the necessary financial resources to leave the country.

Visas for long-term stay (immigration visa)
Visas for long stay issued by Bulgarian diplomatic and consular missions foreigners wishing to obtain a view of the prolonged (for 1 year), or for permanent residence in the Republic of Bulgaria.
Visas for long stay valid for a period of not more than 6 months from the date of their issuance and are entitled to a one-time entry of foreigners in Bulgaria and stay up to obtain a residence permit, but no more than specified in the visa stickers period not exceeding 90 days from the date of entry into the country.
Upon entry to Bulgaria, foreign nationals must apply to the Service administrative control over foreigners on the future place of residence to process a permit, the prolonged or permanent residence (residence permit). 

Reasons for the issuance of visas for long-term stay and the subsequent issuance of a permit for permanent residence, according to Art. 25 Law of the Republic of Bulgaria on foreigners:

* Bulgarian origin (Art. 25, para 1);
* marriage with a Bulgarian citizen or permanent resident alien in the country, provided that the marriage experience is not less than 2 years (St. 25, 2);
* status of unmarried minor child of Bulgarian citizens or resident aliens until his adulthood (St. 25, percent);
* the status of the parents of Bulgarian citizens that provide these citizens by law content, and in the case of adoption - on the condition that elapsed from the date of adoption of not less than 3 years (Art. 25, paragraph 4);
* uninterrupted residence lawfully in Belarus for the past five years, excluding the period of training in a licensed day school (St. 25, Clause 5);
* permit the State Agency for Foreign Investment to invest in the country's economy amounts exceeding 500000 dollars (St. 25, p.6);
* birth on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian citizenship loss (on the basis of intergovernmental agreements on the relocation or on their own), if a person declared desire to settle permanently in Bulgaria (St. 25, Clause 7).

Documents needed to obtain a visa:

* a valid passport citizen of the Russian Federation, two (2) copies of a page with a photo and two (2) copies of all cash valid visas in the passport;
* 2 (two), a copy of the questionnaire-application for a visa (visa entry form, the form of which is provided free of charge in the Bulgarian consular services in the Russian Federation);
* topical color photo - 2. size 3.5 x 4.5 cm (as for the Russian passport);
* documents certifying the legal authority to obtain a visa for a long-term stay. 

Free Visas

Bulgarian visa charges without consular and visa fees are issued:
* Citizens of the Russian Federation under the age of 16.
* Citizens of the Russian Federation, the Bulgarian who receive visas on the basis of bilateral or multilateral interstate cultural, scientific, educational, sports and so on the exchange.

Public servants central, regional and local (municipal) government, which will be forwarded to official travel, with the presentation of a letter issued by the relevant ministry or agency Republic of Bulgaria or the Russian Federation, the purpose of certifying travel. In cases of inter-regional exchange document is issued leader of the Bulgarian regional administration or the mayor of the capital.

Citizens of the Russian Federation, members of trains, and refrigerated railroad staff, telegraph, postal employees, as well as freight forwarders, accompanying goods in the international trains coming through the territory of Bulgaria. Consular fees
Upon the filing of an application questionnaire for the Bulgarian visa consular fee levied in the amount of 740 rubles, as certified by a receipt for that amount, in accordance with the model MF RB. In case of refusal of a visa consular fee is not refundable.

Therms for registration

Visas for transit and short-stay visas issued within seven working days. Urgent single visa for short-term stay and urgent single transit visas processed within three working days.

The design for a long-term stay visa can take at least 30 working days.
